Data Visualizations

Understanding the breadth and depth of the Studio D corpus is a daunting task. While the films all have a comprehensive entry in the NFB Collections, they are not necessarily identified as a Studio D production nor are the NFB’s Subject Categories searchable. The Data Visualizations available here are based on our own systematic compiling of the films, their creative personnel, their themes, and where they fit within the larger history of the Women’s Movement in Canada.
