Creative Network
Not only did Studio D create unparallelled opportunities for women directors and producers, but they also trained generations for jobs in technical production – positions traditionally dominated by men. This database of nearly 500 creative personnel (@ 95% are women!) helps us unravel key creative partnerships, distinct cinematic styles, as well as highlight professionals who had a long and diverse relationship with Studio D.
If you click on a name (alphabetical by first name), it will highlight every film they worked on (colour-coded by role). You can filter out roles by clicking on its label in the legend (and just click it again to turn it back on). The shaded and dotted lines represent all the other films on which the person worked as well as the other creative personnel on those films. To return to all personnel, click the selected name once.
